Mandoo : Simon Seales
Born in the village of Mt. Moritz in St. George, this former british merchant naval sailor who spent twenty-two (22) years plying the seas has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. These include two from the Grenada Board of Tourism for his excellence as a Ground Tour Operator, The national celebrations committee in 2004 for outstanding contribution towards the development of the tourism sector with the pearl independence award, as well as awards from the Grenada Bureau of Standards and the Willie Redhead Foundation for his dedication to environmental protection issues and the observance of Standards in Grenada.
Additionally, over the past ten years, he has spoken to students and teachers in every primary and secondary school in Grenada as he
accompanies officers of the Grenada Board of Tourism traveling from school to school lecturing about the importance of the environment
for the sustainable development of Grenada's tourism industry.
Apart from being this outstanding advocate for the preservation of Grenada's national heritage, his daily calling as a top tour operator
has earned him numerous letters of praise for his high quality of work as an environmentalist and tour guide, who has earned a reputation
for his ability and the professional delivery of his various services.
